Kookaburra

I snapped  this laughing kookaburra in a large gum tree at a park in Toodyay. His raucous laugh alerted me that he was around. I am a bit of a novice taking bird photos but at least he sat still long enough for me get a couple of shots.

  2. You did very well to photograph this bird . When I gave a lea true I made the noise of this bird as I was talking about him, and nearly gave everyone heart attacks! May I wih you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR.
