You never know what you will find when you take a back road. Chances are there will be old machinery left in paddocks, so this is my contribution today to Rubbish Tuesday Visit Rubbish By Roan to see more old, some still useful, and some not so useful items.
Love that first and last picture...and would love to see that piece of machinery at work! Love seeing the old stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteyou led us straight in with that wonderful snapshot, red dirt and green surrounds; beautiful scene Linley...
ReplyDeleteSome fabulous finds there Linley - and for me the first picture is a ripper!
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love rusty stuff! The patina of age is amazing - in the environment I mean. Tin sheds, old machinery, water tanks - all have a story to tell.
ReplyDeleteThese are great photos! I love coming across old things like this. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you also love the backroads! What a great collection of stuff. The lay of the land looks different, but the red soil reminds me of my days in Georgia. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI love the red dirt in that first shot, surrounded by green. Beautiful! You did find some interesting equipment down those back roads. I love driving them, too. I haven't seen a combine or is it a corn picker shaped quite like those. Plenty of rust for us connoisseurs. Thank you so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my morning stroll with you!
ReplyDeleteback roads are the best aren't they?! love those trees in the last photo!
