Hanging On Tight

I snapped these pink and grey galahs when I was recently in South Australia visiting my daughter and the grandkids. On this particular day the wind became extremely strong.  I watched these galahs take shelter in the tree and hang on for dear life. The majority of them took to the strong branches but a couple of daredevils chose a very spindly branch so they provided me with entertainment as I watched them bob up and down in the wind. They crouched low and closed their eyes at times.

  4. I miss seeing galahs all the time. They would have been amusing to watch in the wind.
