I recently spent a few days down at Donnelly River which is an old timber milling town, now used as holiday homes in the forest. The apiarist from Nannup Brook Farms had relocated his bee hives in a paddock where the marri and karri trees were in flower. We came across them removing the honey. I just had to buy a jar when I saw it on sale at the General Store. It is one of the nicest honey's I have tasted, so thick, not at all like the runny commercially produced honey. Since there is a flimsy wire fence in these photos I will link to Good Fences. The pics may be a little hazy as they smoke the bees out to collect the honey
