Fish and Chips at Fremantle, watching the sunset, life doesn't get much better.

Depending on how good your eyesight is you may be able to see a tiny triangle on the horizon, keep this in mind

Again, depending on how good your eyesight is you may see a boat  on the horizon

Here comes the yacht

Here comes the boat, carrying it's own  helicopter, as you do

Motor power, versus wind power

Passing, like ships in the night

Each going their separate ways

Me, I'm off for a feed of fish and chips

Skywatching

Coming home last Saturday evening amongst the rain, thunder and lightning I quickly stopped hoping that the pot of gold was close by.   Linking today with Skywatch Friday

Skywatching, Moonshadow

Took these shots of the moon a few nights ago when it was a full moon. The passing clouds made for an eerie sight

Skywatching

I had a variety of skies today. Started off with a thunderstorm rolling in this morning, then back to our usual clear blue sky and just to finish off, we had  another thunder and lightning show with some welcome rain this afternoon.                Linking with  Skywatch Friday

Skywatching

I thought it was about time I made a return, I have so many blogs to catch up on. So instead of daydreaming I have been skywatching.  Please enjoy these skies from my neck of the woods.

I just love it when I see great cloud formations as I drive these desolate  country roads

Pink For Global Illumination

The Wongan Hills Water Tower has been lit up pink to raise funds for Breast Cancer as part of Global Illumination. The idea is to light up a building or landmark, raising funds along the way. Our small town raised, I believe $20,000 to be donated. The tower was built in 1913 to supply the  trains with water. A few years ago it was reinforced as it was in danger of toppling over.
