These photos were taken on a cruise down the Donnelly River on a cold, reasonably still morning. It meandered along a 12 klm section of the river down to the Great Southern Ocean. This section of river is only accessible by boat, a bush fire devastated the area about 4 years ago with many trees littering the riverbank.

Evidence of bush fires
Limestone cliffs at the mouth of the river
Cold and wet when we arrived
After morning tea at the Ocean it was back along the river for the return trip.
Shame about the weather but you captured some fabulous reflections. It looks very natural and serene.
ReplyDeleteHi! Nice reflection photos. The river is very clean. No winds were felt. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections of the trees in that river!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, it's amazing how the bush comes back after fire. (I watched the Secret River on TV & this is as beautiful as the Hawkesbury)
