After 38 mils of welcome rain last week the vege garden has suddenly had a spurt of growth. Our little patch has been very productive during the winter months and there is nothing nicer than going outside to pick some fresh produce. Broccoli and silverbeet are now ready to start picking and beetroot is not too far off now. Today has been a cool but sunny day, a good day to get the camera out and shoot a few shots and since there is a fence or two and a bit of sky I will share them with Good Fences and Skywatch Friday
At the moment we have broccoli, red cabbage, silverbeet, carrots, turnips, parsnips ,onions, beetroot, chilli, capsicums, peas, garlic, parsley, lettuce and rocket growing.
You are doing well!!! Looking good enough to eat ;)

ReplyDeleteWow! Your vegetable is doing so well. Lots to set soon.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great looking garden, and a pretty sky!
ReplyDeleteI envy you your wonderful vegetable garden. We once had similar but we are now in our 80s and too old to do that much work. Hubby does have 4 of those raised beds and is currently growing silver beet and broad beans which we are looking forward to. Even though it is now winter in Perth we are still having to hand water because the rain is being elusive again.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
