White Tailed Black Cockatoo's
The orchardist in Donnybrook where I stopped in at to get some lovely fresh, straight off the tree apples and nashi pears was probably not as enthused as I was to spot these beautiful specimens.
Saw a small flock of them (about 25) last week as we crossed Stock Road. We once had huge flocks that would come to our garden and decimate the Kings Park Special bottlebrush. It's sad to see their numbers dwindling so rapidly as their habitat is taken over by suburbia. Thanks for sharing such delightful photographs. I always loved travelling in the Donnybrook area.
