This is a nearby neighbours fence. I don't know the people but I am assuming, which maybe I shouldn't, that they were farmers who have moved into town. Inside the fence are corrugated iron cut outs of sheep and down the other end is the sheep dog rounding them up.

Deletecool. Maybe that was their dream....to be sheep herders, but they didn't have the money to buy land and sheep, so they did the best they could...just cut them out some to pretend their dream had come true. Could be....

DeleteThat's interesting Linley because people down in the Hunter had almost the same type of thing displayed in their yard (but out of old rusted corr iron) I'm probably wrong, but I'm wondering if there are templates as the cut-outs are so accurate. (Hope you get to talk to them some time and ask!?)
