Monday Mural
Todays mural can be found on the wall of the Shire Council Offices at Carnamah in Western Australia. This mural caught my eye instantly when we visited there some months ago.
Even though they're pests to you, kangaroos are still exotic to me. This is a fun homage to these critters but the bush has me going "what's that?" Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
During winter and spring the banksias are in flower in the bush along the roadsides. They make a lovely sight, along with the wildflowers and the flower on the left of the mural is a red kangaroo paw, our state emblem.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Feel free to leave a comment, I love hearing from you, or better still join my site, and I will visit your blog in return.
Seems to be some real talent around the town. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteCertainly is a talented artist out there Arija.
DeleteThis one has great impact Linley and its oozing with talent. Nice council buildings, very tidy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Thanks Rose, it certainly brightens up the building. Happy D.I.Y.ing.
DeleteNeat! Strange looking plant but then most everything there would be strange to me.
ReplyDeleteThe strange looking plant is a banksia, one of our natives. We do have some unusual ones over here.
