The Visitor

Today I am going to tell you the story in pictures of one day last week when the Ibis came to visit. This particular bird has been a fixture around our town for quite some time, strutting around the streets and visiting just about every house whenever it takes his fancy.
Linking today with Saturday's Critters
Yoo Hoo any one home, I can see you through the window

The car is there, they must be home

Looking, looking
I will try the front door
Nah, still no answer, I will try the back door

First I will leave my calling card

They still wont let me in

Maybe I will do a bit of gardening while I am here

Oops, hence the saying, head down and bum up

I last saw him flying down to the bottom end of town.

  1. Hello, what a great series of photos. The Ibis could be an honorary mayor of the town. Always walking around and checking to make sure everything is ok. Thank you for linking up and sharing this post. Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!

  2. I loved seeing these photos of your Ibis. And how wonderful to live in an area where they freely walk around the garden, calling cards aside ;)

  3. he is very cool and very unafraid!

  4. What a crazy bird ~ great photography! and what fun!

Happy Weekend to you ~ ^_^

  5. what a cool unusual looking bird, it has such a long beak.

  6. A fun story. I just hope he doesn't bring his mates to town. He might be a forward soldier or the guy that goes ahead and checks out the area to see if it is suitable to inhabit. Ibis are pests in the city.

    1. They are a pest Diane, glad I haven't seen him this week, fingers crossed. So many calling cards left on front verandah

  7. Apart from leaving his calling card, it would be a delight to have such a wonderful visitor. Very envious.

  8. “Positive thinking is more than just a tagline. It changes the way we behave. And I firmly believe that Satta Bajarwhen I am positive, it not only makes me better, but it also makes those around me better.”

  9. play bazaar Being a smart shopper can enable one to catch onto money pits that can often lurk in store aisles or on the shelves. An example can be found in many pet stores where animal specific products will often consist of the same ingredients despite the animal pictured on the label.satta king Finding things such as this will prevent one from buying more than is needed.
