Saturday's Critters

A couple more pics from my recent trip to Donnelly River. Sharing with  Saturdays Critters
A kookaburra keeping watch on one of our walks

Old man Emu patrolling the village

The rubbish bins all have clips on the lids so the kangaroos can't open them, this one kept trying

A splash of red caught my eye, these little robins don't stay still for long.

  1. A lovely variety of crittersin this post today. Loved Old Man Emu. Have a great weekend.

  2. Great shots of Aussie critters. Love the shot of the kangaroo trying to get into the bin.

  3. Hello Linley, These are awesome critters. I would love to see them all myself someday. I love the beautiful birds and the cute kangaroo. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

  4. I love the sound of the name kookaburra ! And they are neat looking birds too. OOOH! I never knew kangaroos were pests that get into garbage cans! Hmmm.

  5. oh, such unique critters you get to see! love the birds, too!

  6. Love seeing these critters from the other side of the world. Reminds me of my Dad and his stories from New Guinea while stationed there.

  7. Hah! Here we have bears. The supposedly 'bear-proof" two can wooden box with top and padlock got totally upended the other day.

I see life is the same on the other side of the world!

  8. What a variety of lovely critters! It's amazing how smart they are when they want to be.
