Imagine my disappointment when all my sweet peas turned out to be the same colour, but I do love their display and fragrance. I transplanted them when they started popping up in various garden beds. I was unsure what was going to appear in the garden this spring as I have only been here 6 months and the house had been empty for over 2 years. They give me a photo for Ruby Tuesday Too though.
They look so lovely. Don't be so disappointed.

ReplyDeleteMy dad used to grow sweet peas half a century ago
ReplyDeleteI've never seen red ones. I always thought they were shades of blue, pink and lavender. What a fantastic show! Happy Ruby Tuesday 2!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely Linely (even with just one colour). I used to grow them every year in Tasmania, but I don't think I'd have luck with them in the tropics. :(
ReplyDeleteSweets ruby peas, love much!
ReplyDeleteThese are really lovely, vibrant sweet peas. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSweet peas were my Dad's favourite Linley, so I have a bit of a soft spot..that's an amazing mass of colour.
