Goomalling

This mural is at the Goomalling Historical Museum, which wasn't open yesterday when we thought we would finally stop and have a look. The town was deserted so I don't blame anyone for not wanting to hang around all day on the off chance a traveller would stop by. This building was once an old school room and I like how the class room is as if you are looking through the window. The children would have walked, ridden their horses or caught the school bus  in days gone by.

Goomalling in Aboriginal means home of possums.

  8. The windows into the room are windows into the past. Very effective method of time travel. Too bad you couldn't get inside. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
