Monday Mellow Yellows

It has surprised me that anything is still alive in my garden after our weekend of extreme heat. The temps have  hit 45 degrees (celcius) for the past 3 days up here. Thankfully a cooler change has come today.   Linking with Monday Mellow Yellows


1 solitary hibiscus flower in shade has survived. Most of the other buds have shrivelled.


These hardy little daisy type flowers are still trying to smile (I don't know what these actually are)

  2. I know what you mean Linley.. I would not like to be a plant sitting out there in the full sun in those temps.. did you see my solution with the umbrellas :) it's been so much better today.

  3. 45 ° C ! that's a lot ! Your pictures are very beautiful ! Wished I would see some flowers ! Here it's winter and nothing is blooming.
