Fridays Fences

Our local football team, Wongan-Ballidu, The Boomers, play in the finals this weekend. My fence this week comes from the Sports Ground, where football, hockey, basketball and cricket are all played. The water to keep the grounds nice and green is recycled water which is pumped into to tanks at the oval from a catchment area north of town. On game days cars are parked all around the outside of the oval.

    Hi Linley
    We are in the midst of crazy footy finals season here in Melbourne too! I hope The Boomers went ok on the weekend?.
    This is such a lovely post because it very typically Australian. My weekends are spent around similar pitches except we are playing soccer!
